Gatien de Broucker is a student at the University of Ottawa (ON, Canada) in the Public Administration Masters Programme. He is affiliated to the Department of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa since September 2010 and to the Interdisciplinary School of Health Sciences (ISHS) at the same university since 2006. His research interests focus on health literacy, adverse events with medication in elderly patients and the management of waiting times in health care services.

From June to September 2013, he pursued his work on health literacy and ageing at the World Health Organization – Centre for Health Development (in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan).
